Second edition of the national study days on the prospects for Algerian Civil Protection to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments,

Continuing the work aimed at consolidating relations between Algerian institutions of scientific research an d technological development with their economic and social environment, and coinciding with the Intern ational Day and the Maghreb Day of Civil Protection, corresponding to, respectively, March 1 and 18, the  Research Center for Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST) is pleased to host the second edition of the “National Study Days on the perspectives of Algerian Civil Protection to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments”

Objectives and dimensions of study days

• The scientific dimension: Propose areas of scientific research linked to the missions of Algerian civil protection. Civil protection contribution and involvement in scientific research and technological development will also be discussed;

• The social and economic dimension: Discuss the technical solutions that Algerian higher education and scientific research could propose to facilitate the tasks of civil protection, with the possibility of recommending solutions available locally or internationally and to orient them according to the needs of civil protection. In addition, startups, startups that are active in areas related to the study days will have the opportunity to present their products;

• The educational dimension: Organization of a series of conferences on research themes related to unmanned vehicles for the benefit of master’s students, postgraduate students, professors and permanent researchers;

• The innovative dimension: Organization of a hackathon to propose solutions that aim to facilitate the work of civil protection personnel.
